J.A.JEWITT (Meat) ltd is a family run business which has been established since 1945. The four directors work in the business and have over twenty five years of experience of all aspects of farming, meat trading, procuring, slaughtering, wholesaling, and processing.
Purpose Built Facility
The company operates from a purpose built co-located abattoir and cutting plant based on a farm location in the North East. The site therefore has good security but also allows for improved animal welfare with the farm lairage.

Welfare
Welfare is integral in our industry.
Our site is audited against the Red Tractor Standard to show we operate to high standards and that animal welfare is extremely important to us.
We have two animal welfare officers on site and have full CCTV in the factory to ensure high standards are maintained.
Service
We sell carcase and boxed beef, pork, lamb and goats. All meat is processed on site and therefore we can offer full traceability of all meat products supplied.
